How to Press DTF Transfers
Pressing DTF transfers is simple. Follow these five steps for a clean, long-lasting result. Your order also includes the press settings for your transfers.
Step 1 · Pre-press
Press the garment for 3 to 5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
Step 2 · Position
Place the transfer design side up and center it. For a full front, about 3 inches below the collar.
Step 3 · Heat press
Press using the settings for your fabric (see the table below).
Step 4 · Peel
Peel the film following the instructions included with your order (hot, warm or cold peel), slowly and at a low angle.
Step 5 · Final press
Cover with parchment or a Teflon sheet and press again for 5 to 10 seconds.
